'Everything looks so disgusting, this place should be ashamed' to which she replied 'I only work here'. It's really unappetizing and the couple in front of me (there was nobody else in line there) were complaining and the man told the girl behind the counter. Then there's one that sells a bowl of taco ingredients, including two types of refried beans. There's another option for hamburgers and a 'Noodles' which has sort of Asian food. The food venues are sparse, there is sort of a 'food court' where you can get a lobster roll for 19.95 and hopefully the roll won't be soggy wet or the lobster tough from sitting in a heating pan for hours. They took out a whole lot of machines so there's some empty floor space where there used to be rows of machines. But we went today, and we're finding every time we go that the casino is going down. MGM gives each of us quite a bit of 'free' play money so we've been regulars there for six months. The casino itself, being in the city, has a smaller footprint so it's easier to get around for people that are elderly or just have bad knees like I do.
Our first trip to MGM was great, we had fun, won some money, had a lobster roll. My husband and I live in Ct., and our usual casino is Mohegan Sun, sometimes Foxwoods.
